Bloomsdale

Bloomsdale variety of spinach is a large, spreading spinach with meaty and dark-green leaves with a rich, nutty flavour. 

It offers a continuous bonanza and is slow to bolt. For the first crop, it is recommended to sow in spring and can be planted again 

in late summer. In areas with mild winters, fall plantings yield in early spring.

Regiment

Regiment variety of spinach is a fast-growing, long-lasting, vigorous, and is bolt-resistant. It is perfect to have in the 

garden from early spring through the fall. It is a beautiful variety of spinach, with thick, slightly triangular and glistening 

dark green leaves that grow upright.

Indian Summer

The Indian Summer is the semi-savoy type of spinach suitable for all the three seasons. This variety of spinach has flat 

and slightly curled leaves that have a dark greenish colour. The harvest period for this variety of spinach is approximately 

7 weeks and it has a high resistance to bolting.


Tyee

The Tyee variety of spinach is a hardy, disease-resistant variety. Tyee is tolerant of both heat and cold. 

This variety has wrinkly and dark-green leaves that look very beautiful in the garden. Once harvested, the leaves are 

flavorful and nutritious. They can be cooked or added to salads.


Catalina

The Catalina variety of spinach is nicely shaped and crunchy in texture. It is a perfect variety to harvest at baby size for 

scrumptious fresh spinach salads. It has smooth leaves with a mild, nutty flavour and no metallic overtones. The plants are 

vigorous, productive and long-standing.


Space Spinach

The space spinach generally has dark green, round, spoon-shaped, almost smooth leaves. The leaves are meaty enough 

for real flavour. The leaves of Space Spinach are held up off the ground so they stay clean. This variety can be eaten raw 

or cooked. It will work in larger containers for early spring and late fall growing.


Red Carnival

The leaves of the Red Carnival variety of spinach are oval to slightly oblong and have a rounded arrowhead tip. This variety is 

generally deep green colour with maroon veins and beet-red stems. The flavours of Red spinach is similar to conventional green 

varieties with mild sweetness and an earthy finish.


Malabar Spinach

The Malabar spinach variety is grown in India and throughout the tropics. The dark green leaves of the Malabar Spinach 

resemble those of the common spinach. This type thrives in hot temperatures, sometimes even exceeding 32 C. Cool 

temperatures cause the Malabar spinach to creep.
